OPERATING PROCEDURE

1. Open Polyview in the Start Menu

2. In the bottom panel, enter your library ID in the “Value” column next to “library ID = “

3. Click on “Search Database” to load the library data

4. Select Menu > File > Open Report Definition…

4.1. In C:\users\Common\Polyview report definitions, open “abs flo weight.pvr”

4.2. The new report definition views will be available by clicking tabs at the bottom of the top panel.

5. Click on the Absorption Spreadsheet tab, and select all of the absorption spectra using shift-click.

6. Right-click on the selected spectra and select “Export selected XYdata to files…” In the Save dialog box, choose *.txt as the “Export To Format.” Only a simple File Name Prefix (e.g. “a”) needs to be chosen, since the suffix will include the Library ID, reactor well, experiment ID, and aliquot number.

7. During the export process, you may be asked which experiment ID’s to export. These different experiment ID’s are generated every time you upload new spectra to the database or process spectra with Automation Studio. You can use Data Browser to determine which experiment ID’s to export.

8. Verify that the correct files have been saved. It may be beneficial to zip the containing folder for transfer over the internet.

9. Numeric data in the spreadsheet can be exported by going to Menu > File > Export > File… or Excel…
