156B Week 9
Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Updated code, integrated third valve and LCD readout
Successfully control three servos independently
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Identified which position the valves should be in
"Inverted" orientation is best
Successfully prints sensors values to LCD screen in mm Hg
Coded in self-calibration of the sensors
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Complete testing of the entire system, similar to testing of prototype at end of Winter quarter (Josh)
Analyze data (Group)
Update website with final design and media (Basil)
Troubleshoot issues (Group) and code (Jeff)

Issues with sensors may be caused by compliance upstream from the third valve
Pay close attention to testing in the final device because upstream tubes will be capped at a minimum of 3mm deformation
Key points for paper
Needle valve vs compression
Show that compression is a viable option
Only use relevant data
Probably most recent data
Discuss sensors and possibility of proposing better sensors for future use
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)

Update slides to show the flow inside the channel
Put letters are numbers next to channels and sensors so they may be easily identified
Consider going back to extended bernoulli
Referred back to old work at the beginning of the project, large errors when using bernoulli
Comments from Other Students in the Class (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Via sheet from Anem
The background slides in particular are still a bit text heavy
The color scheme makes some things hard to read/see
Solutions were well documented
Figures and pics were well liked
Risks and Areas of Concern
None at this time
Resources or Information Required but not Available
