The Mathematical Practices Standards are the "Core of the Core". These are part of all K-12 Standards! They are also referred to as the "Habits of a Mathematically Expert Student". These Practice Standards are the vehicle for all Content Standards. The Math Practices will help move our students toward a deeper understanding of the mathematics.
