In setting up your user account for this course (User Account), you will be required to enter personal information, including, but not limited to, your name and email address.
All information provided by you must be accurate, current and complete and you must maintain the information to keep it accurate, current and complete.
Your password for your User Account must be kept secure and not divulged to third parties.
You must take all reasonable precautions to maintain the integrity of your password and any other security mechanisms; if a password becomes insecure or potentially insecure, you must, as soon as is practicable, implement a new secure password.

Misrepresent or attempt to misrepresent your identity while using the Site

Content that defames, harasses or threatens others;
Content that discusses illegal activities with the intent to commit them;
Pornographic, obscene, indecent or unlawful content;
Advertising or any form of commercial solicitation;
Content related to partisan political activities;
Viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, corrupted files, malware, spyware, or any other similar software that may damage the operation of another's computer or property.
Information from your enrollment will be collected to allow us to use information about the pages you visit on our course page and the content you interact with to show you more relevant information when we advertise. For example, we might send you ads related to a course you are interested in. Collected information is not shared with third party providers.
Please note, the minimum age for enrolment on Short Courses at the ZSM Distance Learning Centre is 16 years at the course start date.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your user area account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the account.
You must immediately notify the DLC of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security.
Your name and e‐mail address will be viewable by other participants in the course. You may be invited to provide additional information about yourself, such as country of residence, preferences, and responses to certain survey information; in such cases it will be made explicit that the additional information will be viewable by other participants. You should be careful not to add personal or private information about yourself that you do not wish others to see.
Records of participation in this course may be used for research purposes and/or to improve the user experience for future participants. No individual participants will be named or made otherwise identifiable in any research outputs, e.g. publications, presentations or reports that arise from this research.
You are expected to respect the right to privacy of others. You must not make inappropriate use of other participants’ personal information.
Any inappropriate contact or communication from another participant in the course should be reported immediately to the instructor of the course.
You agree that the ZSM will be under no liability whatsoever to you or any third party for any loss arising out of or flowing from your use of the Site or your participation in the MOOC.
You agree to indemnify the ZSM against all costs, claims, liabilities, expenses and demands suffered or incurred by the ZSM arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or of the course.
Participation in this course does not constitute admission as a student to the ZSM or to any programme of study other than this course, or an entitlement to be admitted to or enrolled at the ZSM at any time in the future, or an entitlement to access or use ZSM resources other than those provided to you expressly for the purpose of this course.
Participation in or completion of the course does not result in, or confer credit towards, any ZSM qualification. The ZSM provides no representation or warranty as to the outcome of your participation in the course.
