My research goal is to identify the novel genetic and epigenetic regulators of aplastic anaemia in India. My research focus is to explore the differential genetic variations, gene expression and methylation status in the promoter region leading to shortening of telomere length.

I am working on identification of vaginal bacterial diversity and HPV persistence associated with cervical cancer among some tribal communities. I am also working on the identification of unique host immune genetic make up of these tribal communities that may play a protective role in development of cervical cancer.

Sanchita Chandra

My research goal is identify the differential genetic and epigenetic variations across the entire genome of Human which plays a role cervical cancer pathogenesis in different ethnic background of human population and different tissue types of cervical cancer.I am also working on molecular interaction of HPV and host genes.

Suvanjana Ghosh

My research goal is to identify the HPV prevalence among women from rural and pei urban areas of West Bengal and the contribution of different demographic factors on HPV prevalence.
