The Biomedical Genetics Laboratory was established in 2018 in The Department of Zoology, The University of Burdwan under the guidance of Dr. Paramita Mandal. The laboratory is today engaged in research on human diseases of national as well as global interest. The laboratory has expertise in the areas of human genetics, epigenetics, molecular biology and cancer biology.
