Join us in Lisbon on 4–5 November 2026 for the ZDHC Circularity Summit 2026, a first-of-its-kind event dedicated to exploring the role of chemistry in making textile circularity safe, credible and scalable.
Day 1 will focus on the technical and systemic role of chemistry in enabling safe and scalable circularity. Sessions will explore how chemical inputs, outputs, contaminants, feedstock quality, recycling technologies and data transparency influence recyclability, material recovery and circular design.
Participants will gain insights into the opportunities and limitations of mechanical and chemical recycling, the importance of chemical data as a “passport” for circular textiles, and the regulatory and practical shifts needed to build credible circular systems.
Day 2 will shift the focus from technical insight to investment, collaboration and implementation. Discussions will explore who pays for scalable circularity, how chemical risk can influence market confidence, and what is needed to make circular systems attractive, credible and investable.
The day will bring together perspectives from brands, suppliers, recyclers, policymakers, investors and peer organisations to identify the next steps needed to move circularity from pilot projects to scalable industry action.
We invite organisations, experts and innovators from across the value chain to contribute to the Circularity Summit 2026 through our Call for Proposals.
This is an opportunity to share your expertise, case studies, research, practical solutions or strategic perspectives with an audience committed to advancing safe and scalable circularity. Whether you work on chemical management, recycling, material innovation, data transparency, finance, policy, implementation or system change, we welcome proposals that bring fresh insight and practical relevance to the Summit programme.
Selected contributors may be invited to participate as keynote speakers, panellists, session contributors or intervention speakers, depending on the topic and programme fit.
The Circularity Summit 2026 is designed for decision-makers, technical experts and change leaders who are actively working to shape the future of circular textiles and footwear.
By joining, you will:
Gain a deeper understanding of the chemical realities behind circularity and recycling
Explore how safe chemistry can enable credible circular material flows
Connect with brands, suppliers, recyclers, innovators, investors, policymakers and peer organisations
Contribute to practical discussions on what is needed to scale circularity beyond pilots
Discover how chemical data, risk management and collaboration can support circular system design
Help shape the next phase of industry action towards safe, scalable and investable circularity
This is more than a conference. It is a focused platform for knowledge exchange, strategic alignment and cross-industry collaboration.
