ABOUT YUWUN Wind Band
裕文國小管樂團
The band was initially established as a Saxophone ensemble in 2010-2011 academic year, with the support of the first principal, Mr. Guo Rong-Yi. With the full assistance of the conductor, Mr. Hui Ka-ming, the administrative director, Mr. Yip Ling-ya, and the Parent Support Group, the team has finally formed a band in the 2011-2012 academic year.

Students in Year 3 or above are welcome to the group. The divided A and B bands are practiced in the morning and on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Students regularly demonstrated their performance and took part in various activities both within and outside of the classroom. In the past few years, the band has constantly gained an Excellent Award in the Tainan City Music Competitions. The band competed on behalf of Tainan City in the National Music Competition, and won the Excellent Award in the wind ensemble competition. During the following years, the band performed well in music competitions.
Apart from taking part in the local competitions, the group also organizes events every year to give children the great chance to showcase their accomplishments. The group is frequently invited to participate in community activities, and other relevant music festivals, as well as exchange and observe with other schools’ performances, and even visit Japan.
We now have a reserve group for Grade 2 students so that kids may gain great discipline in the basics of music and build up a solid musical foundation in order to set roots for the future.
Students in this group must undergo constant training and evaluation. Our qualified teachers have carefully selected the appropriate instruments for the children, and the curriculum has been tailored to with divisional and ensemble lessons. With dedication and efforts, the group is one of the most well-liked groups in the school.
Apart from efforts put forth by the teachers, parents are eager to assist in leading the group and encouraging the children as they grow. The group is a big family that has been supportive of one another together throughout the whole process. We truly invite all of you to join us, learn music, hone your musical literacy, and build your own fulfilling life.

The choir is made up of a group of enthusiastic singers in the third through sixth grades. We sing during morning recess and Friday afternoon group activities. The goal of singing lessons is for students to improve their singing, teamwork, song immersion, enjoyment, and love.

We sing a wide variety of songs, from Taiwanese folk songs, Chinese songs, Japanese songs, Western songs to Latin poetry. Since its beginning around every November, the choir has represented the school to compete in the student music competition in the category for Elementary School Chorus, and it consistently wins top honors. The choir has received invitations to provide performances in towns and schools in addition to the annual competition.

ABOUT YUWUN String Orchestra
裕文國小弦樂團
The string orchestra was established in 2010 with the strong support of the first Principal, Mr. Guo Rong-Yi, and now it was led by our current Principal, Mr. Chen Yin-Hong.
The orchestra, composed of the top students in the school, has weekly practice, and receives training over the winter and summer vacation. It gradually improved the members’ music knowledge and skills. We expect to promote liberal arts literacy, engage students in intellectual discovery, and conduct humanistic musical teaching via the use of whole-person education.

Students have actively taken part in various music competitions with the support of the leader Mrs. Su Chun-Yin, Teacher Mrs. Yip Ling-ah, and the guidance of our string orchestra conductor Mr. Yu Yu-Zeng and Teacher Li Hui-jun. The team has participated in a variety of music-sharing activities both inside and outside of the school. These activities give youngsters who are passionate about playing string orchestra a great chance to present their performance and enthusiasm for music. It also contributes to bringing music closer to the community.
Our orchestra will continually let children increase the depth and width of music, build artistic aesthetics and self-confidence, and continue to find stages for children to show their achievements and art. The team will broaden and deepen students’ music performance, develop their artistic aesthetics and confidence. Keep looking for stages for children to showcase their achievements and artwork

ABOUT YUWUN Dance Team
裕文國小舞蹈隊
The school formally established the Yuwun Dance Team in the 2020-2021 academic year in order to continue 12-year Basic education, implement the spirit of 108 curriculum,and cultivate children’s multidimensional growth. Children who are passionate about dance have a platform at school, where they can compete for honor in the National Dance Team Competition.
The dance team competed in the Tainan City Competition under the Classical Dance Category A for the first time presented as an official school team on December 6, 2021. This opportunity also represented Tainan City in the National Dance Competition. On March 6, 2021, they were given a special honor on the stage of the National Dance Competition for the first time owing to their ongoing practice, collaboration, parental support, and teachers' encouragement.

ABOUT YUWUN Basketball Team

The majority of students on the basketball team are in Grades 4 through 6. Students use the early self-study time to train. During the winter and summer, students are reinforced to improve their physical fitness and skills. We expect our team to be competitive in their studies as well as on the court.
"Beat Yesterday" is our slogan for the basketball team!

ABOUT YUWUN Badminton Team

The badminton team was founded by head coach Li Xinnan in September 2012. There were only 7 persons present at first. However, the badminton team uses simple language so that students can understand the professional badminton knowledge and skills during the training period in order to develop badminton.
Teaching must constantly reinforce the purpose of learning in order to overcome challenges and accomplish objectives. With patience and a focus on training sessions, learning attitudes, diet control, academic stress, and mental state, etc., the coaches facilitate every child who is unsure of how to learn badminton through a process of evolution and tolerance every day.
Now, the team is moving forward. We are confident that Yuwun Badminton Team will gain better results under the guidance of Principle Chen and the firm supports of parents.
