Family Education

1. Education within the family is the foundation of all education. It is the cradle where it all starts. In terms of family education, we hold a Grandparents Festival to promote family relations. We also invite experts to give presentations on communication within the family.

2. Each April we organize a Family Week with exhibitions and performances by our various school clubs where students can show their talents. The activities also incorporate multi-cultural elements and a Hakka Festival. Students, teachers, and parents collaborate on publicity and design, and a family fair.

Multiple Learning Center

1. Our Multiple Learning Center was established in 2004 to support students with special needs (diagnosed or suspected) to optimally adapt and develop in their studies and life.

2. There are currently one resource classes with decentralized learning, facilitated by two special education teachers, one support teacher, and one special support assistant. The special-needs students are all part of the regular classes, where they learn in special subgroups and are given extra guidance, as well as independent learning and group activities. The taught subjects include the subjects that may pose major difficulties—Mandarin and mathematics—as well as life education, social adaptation, communication techniques, concentration, and more.  When needed, the teachers of the Multiple Learning Center will come to the regular classes to help the special-needs students learn!
