🎉 IXL Winter Break Challenge is HERE! 🎉
Dear Parents and Families,
Get ready for some friendly academic competition! We're thrilled to announce our IXL Winter Break Leaderboard Challenge that kicks off today and runs through January 11th.
Here's how it works: Students will earn points for every skill they master on IXL during winter break. The more proficient they become, the higher they climb on our exciting leaderboard! This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to keep their academic skills sharp while having fun competing with classmates.
Challenge Details:
Start Date: Today!
End Date: January 11th
How to Earn Points: Complete IXL skills and achieve proficiency
Goal: Climb the leaderboard and maintain learning momentum over break
This challenge is designed to make learning engaging during the holiday break while helping students stay academically active. Whether your child spends 10 minutes or an hour on IXL, every skill mastered counts toward their position on the leaderboard.
We encourage you to support your child's participation and celebrate their progress. Learning doesn't have to take a vacation, and this competition makes it exciting to stay engaged with their studies!
Questions about IXL access or need technical support? Please don't hesitate to reach out.
Let the challenge begin! 🚀
Best regards,
Mrs. Hughes-Gill
P.S. Check in with your student regularly to see how they're climbing the leaderboard – a little encouragement goes a long way!

What a great first day!!! We had PERFECT ATTENDANCE!!!
If you have supplies to bring in, you have all week to get that taken care of. Reminders will come home on Friday as to what your student still needs to bring in. Priorities include headphones and AVID binder supplies. In addition, you may see a yellow folder come home today. It contains important paperwork that needs to be filled out ASAP and returned in. Other supplies are bonuses and very much appreciated.
Gratefully,
Mrs. Gill
