I'm glad you are here!
結(Yui) means connection, relationship, and collaboration in Japanese.
As a human being, we are constantly learning from our direct and indirect social interactions.
If you feel stuck, a new connection, a new perspective and a new tool for growth can be found in here.
In-person therapy available on Tuesdays and Fridays at Mountlake Terrace.
Thank you for stopping by. I like to make people feel safe, heard, validated, and better. You might be needing alternative thoughts to have less anxiety at work or quick tools for emotional regulation at home with your children, but I would like to take time and explore your past so that you can understand why your mind and body are reacting the way they are now. Self-awareness and mindfulness can be a powerful catalysis for your growth.
I practice under cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and attachment framework. I am a Gottman Level 1, ADHD-CCSP, EMDR trained therapist and certified with Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have worked with adults in a group practice setting and teens in school based settings during my training.
These therapy frameworks will help you identify obstacles to accept yourself, be compassionate to yourself, create meaningful connections, and grow as a person. I welcome you to my counseling space with empathy and compassion for your cultural background and past experiences.
