This session will provide time and space for a personal quiet retreat time with the Lord. As well, it will provide instruction and guidance in forming a half or full day retreat yourself, for you alone or a group you are facilitating. You'll need your Bible and journal, in whatever form you prefer. You also will have the opportunity to spend some solo quiet time outdoors, so come with suitable outdoor wear!
Spend the afternoon getting to know the ins and outs of our city by participating in one of four service projects. For a couple of hours, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to put your cooking (and sandwich making) skills to the test, get your steps in by handing out socks (and encouraging people’s ‘soles’), or come alongside a few of the amazing organizations that get to do this (and so much more) day in and day out by helping them get things done. Need a change of pace? Step out of the conference setting and help us serve our city!
This workshop will cultivate conversations around our own mental health along with engaging mental health conversations with youth. Today's youth are caught in a perfect storm. How do we remain strong while helping them navigate that storm?
