Balkan International Youth Summit for Peace

The Balkan International Youth Summit for Peace is an international platform dedicated to advancing youth leadership, dialogue, innovation, and peacebuilding across the Balkans and beyond. Bringing together young leaders, governmental representatives, UN Agencies, ambassador, institutions, experts, academia, civil society, and international partners, the Summit serves as a space for fostering regional cooperation, intercultural understanding, and sustainable development through youth engagement.

The initiative focuses on key areas including inclusive governance, integrity and democratic participation, post-conflict recovery, mental health, hate speech, intercultural dialogue, and youth-led innovation connected to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hosted in Mitrovica, the Summit aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration and create long-term opportunities for young people to contribute actively to peacebuilding processes at local, regional, and international levels.
