Selecting the correct subjects is an important decision and requires research and careful consideration. To help you make the right decision our teachers have produced some short videos that outline the courses on offer.
Three of the main factors to consider when making your choices are:
What are you interested in? You are selecting subjects that you will study for the next two years. If you have a genuine interest in the subject you are far more likely to remain motivated and will enjoy your lessons more.
What are your strengths? It's a good idea to select subjects where you have particular strengths. Speak to your teachers they will be able to advise you as to whether they think you will enjoy and thrive on the courses.
What are your future aspirations? Although it's a long time away and you will probably change your mind several times before making a final decision, it's useful to think about what you might like to do in the future, either in terms of employment or further study.
