College Success Foundation (CSF)

College Success Foundation provides a unique integrated system of supports and scholarship to inspire underserved, low-income students to finish high school, graduate from college and succeed in life.

Who we Serve

The College Success Foundation works with students who have the desire to go to college but may not get there without the support and guidance from a consistent advisor. Our scholars include young people from low-come families, students of color, foster youth and first-generation college students.

What We Do

We are distinctive because we offer personalized college access services and assistance with financial aid and scholarship applications. Our system of supports address the critical transition points from high school to college and college to career. We support our scholars academically, financially, socially and emotionally and serve over 12,000 scholars across Washington every year

HERO Program

9th & 10th grade

The Higher Education Readiness Opportunity (HERO) program provides the support and guidance that 9th and 10th grade students need to successfully navigate the transition from middle school to high school, manage the academic rigor of high school and become college-ready.

What does the HERO Scholars Program offer:

College readiness workshops on college choices, admissions requirements and paying for college
Career exploration activities include interest inventories and self-assessments
Individualized assistance with developing a college-going course plan
Academic and attendance monitoring
ACT/SAT test preparation
Summer Program with fun incentives

Achievers Program

11th & 12th Grade

What does the Achievers Scholars Program offer:

Summer Achievers College Experience
Academic and college planning
One-on-one transcript evaluation and course planning
Monthly group meeting with other Achievers on College workshops
Personal statement writing
Preparing for college admissions tests
Completing a college application
Paying for college including FAFSA/WASFA completion and scholarship search support
High school to college transition support
Connection to college campus resources and opportunities o Access to college and career workshops
