Anchoring Social
Circular Economy

A MOOC as blended leaarning

Our Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is a free online course available for anyone to use without any registration. The educator and teacher is responsible for assessment, recognition and validation. The project modules will not provide certificates since that would require a registration system and automatic corrections or an “assignment administrator”.

The educator and teacher is responsible for assessment, recognition and validation.

Objectives for the MOOC

By creating a massive open online VET course (MOOC) on Social Circular Economy (SCE), we want to strengthen blended learning and provide a digital and flexible way to learn new skills or to get up-skilling. The course modules can be added, implemented or replacing your existing course materials. This course can also supplement existing modules.

The objectives are to motivate students to learn more about SCE and at the same time to offer teachers inspiring learning methods and material. It is important to stimulate innovative learning and teaching methods in education and to increase the appeal of vocational training by strengthening the link between the world of education, society, and the workforce.

The aim is also to interconnect the principles of circular economy with social entrepreneurship. This link can create conditions to promote innovation and creativity for society according to environmental and economic needs. Circularity can be expected to have a positive net effect on the creation of jobs, provided that the workers acquire the skills required by the green transition.
