Curriculum

All students have access to our online careers platform Unifrog.

Here they can complete quizzes based on interests and personality preferences and search for careers based on these. Unifrog also allows students to create shortlists for university and apprenticeships.

Subject areas embed careers learning within their lesson content, making the learning more authentic. This includes visiting speakers, discussing the jobs people could do and making employability skills explicit in the lesson.

Activities supporting careers learning outside of lessons include:

• performing arts - working with stage management professionals and running shows

• visits to universities, colleges and careers fairs

• The annual Y Pant careers fair in October
