First Day
Third blended mobility for students and teachers in Almeria, Spain. First day of activities.Opening ceremony. STEM activities of purifying water in the university in Almeria.
Second Day
Second day of LTTA in Almeria. Visiting National park Cabo de Gata. Activities by the Siren's reef, Lighthouse,Salt Pans.
Observing birds' migration spots. Visiting ancient hydraulic structures.
Third day of activities in Almeria, Spain. Workshop and discussion about preserving nature in Cabo de Gata National park. Solutions for saving water in the driest region of Spain. Snorkelling and Kayak activities. Cleaning the beach.
Fourth Day
Fourth day of activities in Almeria,Spain. Visiting a sewage station. Waste water treatment. Observing the process of waste water purification and reaching the final products: purified water used in greenhouses, biogas used for fuel and biomass used for fertilizing soils.
Visiting Mesa Roldan's Lighthouse and the museum of lighthouses. The biggest exhibition of lighthouses and their role in navigating ships.
Fifth Day
5th day if activities in Almeria,Spain. Brainstorming activity:Culture of water usage. Discussion: main uses if water, main domestic uses, main sources of water pollution, proposals to reuse water.
Workshop:Calculation of my water footprint.
