PCMS is a google-band!

As technology is prevalent in our lives, it has made some major positive strides in education. Band at PCMS is proud to be part of the ever changing technology available to our students. Our major source of technology is using Google Classroom. All our band students will be trained on how to use google classroom and how to access it from various places. GC is used to submit playing quizzes, playing tests or "how does this sound" from student to director in a safe and transparent manner.

Written instruction on how to login, add classes, find and upload assignments will be posted below. All musicians will have a hard copy of how to login and navigate GC in their band binder, tab 5. Instructional videos will also be uploaded soon over summer. Parents that have given their email information to Mrs. Miller will be "invited" as guardians to monitor their student's GC assignments.

All students in Charlotte County Public Schools are given a school monitored email address and google drive space. This is what is utilized through the GC process.

Google Classroom Codes for the 2020-2021 School Year

Remember: You have to login to google with your SCHOOL EMAIL to access Google Classroom. (it's your 88 number @yourcharlotteschools.net For example: 8874563@yourcharlotteschools.net) After that, you'll recognize the Rapid Identity screen you see when you login to any school computer.) Google Classroom will not work with your own personal gmail account. 6th graders, if you have not been through this in computers class, it is the same process from 5th grade when you logged into any computer.
