The following scholarships are local scholarships that Charlotte High School students are selected for year after year. Students, if the application is online then complete it that way. However, SOME of the applications that are attached need to be printed and turned into Mrs. Nicklas in the Career Center by the due date. This is the second part of your local scholarship Google Form application that will be due later (along with your 3 recommendation letters, personal essay, and resume). If you are unable to print these applications, stop by the Career Center and pick them up from folders on the table outside or request them by email if you are a CTC student.

Achieva Credit Union Scholarship
Achieva Scholarship applicants must be a graduating high school senior or enrolled in a college or trade school. The Achieva Foundation provides college and technical scholarships for students. Every year we award scholarships throughout Achieva’s service area. Applicants must be a member of Achieva Credit Union and in good standing. The application period begins in February. Scholarships are awarded yearly in May.

Builders Scholarship/Tools of the Trade Scholarship
This scholarship application is open to students in Charlotte and DeSoto counties and children of members of the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association who want to pursue rewarding careers in the construction industry.
CFEA Scholarship
CFEA gives a cash award to each graduating high school senior or college senior whose parent or legal guardian is a current CFEA member, in good standing. The amount of the award will be determined by the CFEA Representative Council. The requirements to receive the CFEA cash award are: * Parent/Legal Guardian MUST be a CFEA member, in good standing. * The member has a graduating senior. * CFEA member must complete the application. * Late applications will be given consideration by the Exec Board.

Stephen A. Segar Epilepsy Scholarship
The Stephen A. Segar Epilepsy Scholarship was created in 2007 to support college bound high school seniors that are living with epilepsy. At the age of 35 Steve was diagnosed with epilepsy. Throughout his epilepsy journey Steve learned how to manage his diagnosis while supporting his family and running a successful law firm. Realizing that an epilepsy diagnosis does not mean you have to alter or abandon your dreams is one of the many reasons that Steve is proud to support students in their future endeavors through his scholarship.
