All students at Rayen Early College Middle School are uniquely talented scholars who embody the excellence of the Youngstown City School District demonstrating academic achievement, resiliency, and responsibility. Scholars achieve their fullest potential in order to make a positive difference in their homes, and communities.

The mission of the Rayen Early Counseling Department is to collaborate with parents/guardians, staff, and community members to provide scholars with a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to address academic goals and support emotional and social needs. Our school counseling enables them to become successful and productive learners fast approaching college and career changes in a diverse and changing world by advocating for all students to experience equity, inclusion, and success.
