Boys Soccer

The Yough Cougars had an impressive and successful season. The boys are also parting with three seniors, Jordan McDonough, Luke Vinoski, and Jack Kopp who were all talented assets who contributed to the team's success over the years. Congratulations on your season and good luck next season!

Girls Soccer

The Yough Lady Cougars also had an impressive and successful season. They clinched WPIAL playoffs, however they lost in the first round to North Catholic, only allowing three goals. The girls are also parting with four seniors, Carli Reisinger, Sidney Bergman, Brooke Wieland, and Gracie Tomko who were all assets to the team. Congratulations to Katelyn Slavick, Carly Fitzgibbons, Daisy Miller, Leah Slavick, and Gionna Piontka for receiving All Section. Gracie Tomko was also named Westmoreland County Athlete of the Week. Way to go! Congratulations on your amazing season and good luck next season!

Football

The Yough Cougars Varsity Football team had a vivacious season. Overall, they ended the season with a record 3-8, their wins being against Brentwood (40-0), Charleroi (21-9), and Derry (55-14). They will be parting with fourteen seniors this year Angelo Dippolito, Jaiden Dixon-Bretzel, Bryce Harvey, Aiden Humenik, Collin Kasper, Raidon Kuroda, Colin Magill, Samuel Smalich, Aidan Thornton, Lukas Waltonbaugh, Joseph Weinhofer, Kiron Yates, Theotis Moore, and Beau Yuhas. Thank you for your school pride on and off the field. We hope to see an even better season next year!
