Red Ribbon Week
Written by Sidney Bergman
Red Ribbon Week was celebrated from the 28th of October to the 1st of November this year, which is a week dedicated to pledging to be drug free. Activities included students signing the banner featured outside the cafeteria and getting a bracelet. There was also a bake sale which sold almost all of the baked goods sold. They want to thank all who participated in the events and bought goods during the week to support being drug free!

"A Movie Under the Stars"
Written by Izabella Seaton
The National Honor Society hosted “A Movie Under the Stars” on October 13th. It was originally going to be held at Cougar Mountain, but due to weather it was held in the auditorium. Students could vote on which movie they would like to see, and the popular vote was “10 Things I Hate About You.” Students from all grade levels could sign up and pay to watch. There were snacks and drinks available to purchase. This was an event to make a donation for a mental health organization, all profits were donated. It was a fun event where students watched a movie, ate snacks and had an amazing time!
