Experience
I began my teaching career in 2nd grade and 4th grade in the Bronx. In September 2020, I was honored to join the Crompond Elementary community as a 5th grade teacher. This will be my sixth year at Crompond and my eleventh year in the teaching profession.
Teaching Philosophy
I chose to become a teacher because of the profound impact teachers have had on my life. It is my hope to "pay it forward," and be a teacher who always goes the extra mile for their students. My philosophy of teaching is the belief that every child can be successful. It is my hope that students feel loved, included, successful, and appreciated in my classroom.
Personal Life
My husband, Dennis, is a fireman in the Yonkers Fire Department. We have a one year old daughter named Scarlett. We love spending time in the Adirondacks. In my free time, I love to read, bake, do yoga, and spend time with my loved ones.
