Parents are responsible for completing their child's registration and accurately answering all questions regarding their child's health history.
Pay close attention to the questions regarding COVID-19.
If your child tested positive for COVID-19 in the past, be sure to indicate that in the “health history” section of FinalForms.
Please reach out to the school nurse for guidance regarding the medical clearance required for sports participation after having COVID-19.
Any athlete who does not have the proper medical clearance will not be able to participate in practices or games.
If you have questions regarding the clearance process and what medical documentation is necessary for participation, please visit the Athletic Clearance Info link on the school nurse website.

Athletics is a significant part of the Yorktown community. More than 70% of the Yorktown High School student body participates on one or more teams during the course of the school year. Involvement in structured physical activities has proven to help students learn how to manage their time. Acquiring time management skills can lead to the development of mature and responsible adults.
The Yorktown High School coaching staff is a strong combination of young energetic coaches, and well seasoned veterans who work tirelessly to provide the best possible experiences for the community's most valuable asset.
Let us support all athletes, whether Cornhusker or opponent, and make the Yorktown environment one that exudes sportsmanship.
