Violence Elsewhere at AGS

Three of the core researchers in the Violence Elsewhere Research Project attended the annual conference of the Association of German Studies from 4-6 September 2019 at the University of Bristol. This year's theme was "citizenship", with sessions and panels from scholars working on German literature, culture, translation studies, and linguistics. The session, "'Violence Elsewhere’: Imagining Violence outside Germany since 1945" was chaired by Clare Bielby.
