We have planned another range of fantastic trips across Yorkshire!
Join us as we visit some of the stunning sights that Yorkshire has to offer and make new friends.
Visit the classic Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby, explore the old cobbled streets of Haworth and Knaresborough, or spend a day on the beach in Scarborough. We have something for everyone!

Summer Riverboat Cruise
We’ve chartered a private boat for an exclusive evening cruise down the Ouse. It’s the ultimate way to wind down, grab a drink, and see the city from the water. Leave the library behind for the evening and join us for chilled-out vibes, live music, and a fully stocked bar. This event is open to ALL international students and ALL postgraduate students.

Come along to our next PG social where we will be unleashing our inner artists! We will provide paint and canvases for you to explore your creativity, and you can either create something for your walls or lend your painting to the PGIC team to feature in our summer gallery exhibition!

Join us for a relaxed midsummer evening in the Wentworth College Hub, with food, games, music, and plenty of summer energy. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, wind down after an exam period, or enjoy company with some free snacks and drinks, this is a welcoming space to connect with fellow postgraduates from across the University of York.
Expect chilled school-disco-style music, summery snacks, and an easy-going atmosphere — no pressure, no prep, just a chance to unwind and start the summer properly.
