I am a PhD student at the University of York and for my PhD thesis, I want to help show how people learn crafts and help each other when they are struggling with something.

As more workshops move online, I am interested in the way these are conducted and how language and gestures are used in their production. I am also interested in in-person workshops, and hope to be able to draw comparisons between the differences in online and in-person interactions.
