Graphs and Networks

The modern world generates vast amounts of data which can be best represented using graphs and networks. Examples include protein interactions, social networks, financial interactions and transport.
We are one of the leading groups for the study graphs and networks from the perspective of a data representation. We are interested in both the underlying theory and practical applications.

3D Shape Recognition

Over recent years, vast databases of 3D shapes have be created, mainly represented by triangle meshes. In this research, we study methods for the recall and recognition of 3D shapes based on their mesh structures.
