The scale of 21st century challenges, including Covid-19, has produced feelings of powerlessness. But communities past and present hold lessons for us to learn - what, for example, can the Victorian cholera epidemic tell us about how scientists and church leaders can work together to keep the public mentally and physically healthy?
A researcher in science communication, and a Church of England Bishop will reflect on the narratives that communicate science to local communities, explore the significant role that the church, and collaboration with academics, played in this process, then and now.
