Places, Communities and the Centre for Medieval Studies

At the Centre for Medieval Studies we are having multiple conversations about the places and communities that we belong to both as scholars and citizens. Issues include eurocentrism, the nationalist appropriation of the medieval past in England and elsewhere, centre and region, and how we can develop our engagement with the city of York and its institutions.
