The Guildhall is a stunning 15th century Grade I listed building, situated just by the River Ouse in the centre of York. It's also very conveniently located, just a 5 minute walk to the train station in one direction, and to the historic Shambles in the other direction.

It is easy to get to York by train: there is a major train station right in the centre of the city, which is just a 10-minute walk from the venue. You can also get a taxi from the taxi rank straight outside the train station.

The nearest airports are Manchester (MAN) and Leeds Bradford (LBA). There is a regular direct train running from Manchester Airport to York (operated by Transpennine Express), which takes just under 2 hours.
York is a very popular tourist destination, so we advise delegates to book accommodation as early as possible.
