Schools play a vital role in our research. We regularly invite teachers and pupils to advise on and participate in our studies, and always would love to hear from interested schools in York and surrounding areas.
Over the next two years, we will be looking for:
Primary and secondary school teachers to advise on the design and feasibility of word learning and memory tasks for research
Whole classes of primary school children to participate in word learning and memory activities
Whole classes of secondary school children to participate in word learning and memory activities
These opportunities will be advertised on this page and via SUNRAY (see below). However, interested teachers are very welcome to contact Emma (emma.james@york.ac.uk) at any time.
We conduct our research through SUNRAY (School & University Network for Research Across Yorkshire), a network dedicated to maximising the benefits of research activities for all involved. Please visit the SUNRAY website for more information and to join as a school partner.
