inclusive impact awards 2022 - Categories

The inaugural Inclusive Impact Awards will have six categories:

Inclusive Education

This award recognises an individual or team that has developed innovative teaching, learning and/or assessment practices, or other initiatives that advance inclusive education for a diverse range of students.

inclusive community

This award recognises an individual or team that has worked to make the University of York more inclusive, by creating the conditions for underrepresented, marginalised or disadvantaged communities to feel an increased sense of belonging at the University of York.

Inclusive research

This award recognises an individual or team whose research activity has led to enhanced and improved policies, practices or procedures (either at York or elsewhere) that address inequality and lead change around inclusion.

inclusive partnerships

This award recognises an individual or team that has collaborated (internally or externally) to create partnerships that contribute to advancing our ambitions of making York a more inclusive university.

inclusive campus

This award recognises an individual or team that regularly goes above and beyond, quietly making a positive difference to the University becoming a more inclusive place to work or study. This award is reserved for frontline support staff who underpin everything that the University does, but who rarely receive the public recognition they deserve.

The pvc's (partnerships & engagement) edi catalyst award

This award, selected by Kiran Trehan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Partnerships & Engagement, recognises an individual, team or group whose actions are enthusing, influencing and leading positive change, making the University of York a more inclusive place to work and study.
