We are pleased to announce that the Centre for Blood Research (CBR) at York and the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute (CSCI) will be hosting the first meeting on Advances in experimental and therapeutic haematopoietic stem cell expansion. The three-day event will feature a one day scientific meeting at The Guildhall York on Thursday 23rd April 2026 (with hands-on training events on the 22nd and 24th focused on HSC expansion cultures and image-based/spectral sorting).
The meeting will bring together leading figures in the field of haematopoietic stem cell research and culture methods. We already have high profile keynote international speakers confirmed, including Profs. Satoshi Yamazaki (University of Tokyo), Elisa Laurenti (University of Cambridge), Hiro Nakauchi (Stanford University), Marieke Essers (Heidelberg Institute for Stem Cell Technology and Experimental Medicine), and Timm Schroeder (ETH Zurich).
We also have oral presentations and poster presentation opportunities - please submit an abstract by 15th December 2025 to be considered.
