The Curiosity Partnership brings together local authorities, academics, people with lived experience and community groups to explore how research can play a more prominent role in improving social care for older people.
Curious Minds is the public voice of the Partnership.
Anyone with lived experience of drawing on adult social care (either for themselves or a family member/ friend) or working/ volunteering in the sector are welcome to join this public involvement group and add their invaluable voices to research projects seeking to make adult social care experiences better for people in later life.
Here are some examples of activities a Curious Minds group member may choose to take part in:
Attending quarterly Curious Minds meetings to hear about and give your views on current research activities
Joining meetings and events aligned to your specific interests to share your thoughts and influence the Curiosity Partnership's plans
Reading and commenting on materials, ideas or activities
Taking part in research activities such as interviews or focus groups
We are keen to ensure Curious Minds is a welcoming, friendly and open group. There's no required prior knowledge and no right or wrong answers. We are just curious to hear your views!
We are committed to making the group as accessible as possible and will be happy to discuss any support you might need to help you get involved.
We will offer you payment for your time, contribution and expertise (see Resources for more details).
You can get involved in lots of activities or just a few things - the choice is yours! You can also choose to stop or change your involvement at any time.
