Hockley Valley Provincial Park is located just north of the village of Hockley, Ontario. There is a park office on site that offers information about local attractions and events as well as maps if you want to take a self-guided tour around the trails. The main attraction of this park is the nature walks with lots of trails for all skill levels from beginner to advanced, leading through woodlands and wetlands.

There are also two designated picnic areas, one by the park office which offers a lovely view onto rolling hills and another within walking distance at Cedar Creek near Lake Bernard where visitors can use larger fire pits roast marshmallows over an open fire.

Because it's located in the Niagara Escarpment, this area is home to many species of trees and plants that are at risk of disappearing including eastern hemlock, northern white cedar, black ash, yellow birch gray tree frog and others. There are also wildflowers unique to the ecosystem you won't find growing anywhere else! As well as a variety of mammals including chipmunks, red foxes, squirrels and coyotes.

It offers some challenging trails with plenty of hills if you're looking for a workout or an easy relaxing hike through maple forests! It's also great for cross country skiing in the winter months so make sure to pack your snowshoes too!
