BELFOUNTAIN, CALEDON ONTARIO ATTRACTIONS

Belfountain Conservation Area - Caledon, ON

The Niagara Escarpment is a must-see for any nature lover. In addition to being home of some history, you'll be able to enjoy the waterfalls and cliffs from overlooking bridges as well!

The escarpment starts at Queen Victoria Park which offers trails that lead into this amazing area with its own limestone structures such as "the belle" fountain or terrace on top - perfect if hiking isn't really your thing but still want an adventure close by without going too far.

The Belfountain Conservation Area is located on the Niagara Escarpment in West Credit River Valley. The 32-acre property features a suspension bridge that spans gorgeous waterfalls, an antique fountain and other historic aspects of Ontario! Visitors can escape from their hectic lives for awhile amongst nature's splendor during April through October when they can relax with family or take part in trout fishing trips along side this beautiful river while hiking over escarpment outcrops provides ample views you won't want to miss if looking southwards.

The Bruce Trail can be accessed through Belfountain's Trimble trail, which leads to a serene and beautiful natural area. The well known path is great for hiking or just taking it easy as you enjoy the autumn colours that line this pathside forest late in fall when trees such as cedar, oak maple birch all come into view!
