Our programs and projects are aligned with the vision 2030 of the World Alliance of YMCAs, which revolves around four pillars:
The YMCA believes that every person should have the means to grow and thrive in body, mind and spirit while taking care of their individual and collective wellbeing.
The YMCA believes that all young people deserve the right to learn, engage in flexible, dignified and meaningful work, and build sustainable livelihoods.
The YMCA believes that we should all commit and take action for the protection and regeneration of our Planet, preparing for a Just Transition to a world where humans live in full harmony with Nature.
The YMCA believes in the power of young people and communities to promote and advance justice, peace, equity and human rights for all.
In realizing our vision, we engage the youth as center of our initiatives and partners in development, thus the following youth clubs:
The College-Y is the club program of the YMCA for students in colleges and universities. College-Y Clubs provide a favorable environment for members to understand themselves better in their relationships with constantly shifting social values and environs. Members are helped individually to develop well-rounded personalities, investigate new ideas, and learn new skills that help them use their leisure time profitably.
The purpose of the College-Y Club is to seek every opportunity to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially and to become proficient in Christian democratic leadership so as to serve God, our country, and our fellowship in the best possible way.
The Hi-Y is a club program of the YMCA for high school students. It is designed to help the members join the club seeking friendship, adventure, recreation, and inspiration. It aims to upgrade personal standards—mentally, spiritually, socially, and physically—and seeks to help them better live for themselves, their friends, and their community through personal discipline.
The purpose of the Hi-Y Club is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character.
The Red Triangle is the club program of the YMCA for elementary pupils. It is designed to help the members grow up to become good citizens with useful and satisfying lives.
The purpose of the Red Triangle Club is for members to be strong in body, mind, and spirit, to worship God, and to work together for a finer community and a better world.
