Karlita Greta is an El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM based cosplayer that has been cosplaying for over 8 years. Her range of skills include: sewing, prop making, and wig styling. These heightened skills have made her a 5 time award winning cosplayer and a one time cosplay judge. Her love for cosplay allows her to express creative freedom, by creating costumes and marrying them through song and dance. Making her the cosplay performer she is today.
Rissa aka Kitty is an El Paso/Las Cruces based cosplayer who has been a part of the community for 8 years. Their specialties include sewing, sfx makeup and prop design. They have placed in and judged previous contests in both El Paso and NM. They love seeing the creativity and passion people put into cosplay and cant wait to see everyones work.
Ben is an El Paso, TX based cosplayer, who’s been cosplaying for 3 years now. He is a 4 time award winner and 1 time cosplay judge. His love for anime/manga and video games have influenced him to cosplay his favorite characters. His other hobbies include playing on his consoles and studying game development
Hi, my name is Jtaps and i have been cosplaying since 2011. I have recently gotten more involved with the comunity and have been able to work on cosplays i've dreamed of doing. I've also had opportunity to participate in events and collabs local and non-local. More recently I've done Ryu from Street Fighter 6, Evil Eye from DanDaDan and Kinger from The Amazing Digital Circus. I've had the privilege to see the growth of the cosplay community and how skillful many members are with their talents. We encourage all new and veteran cosplayers to show off their hard work and most importantly have fun doing so! Hope to see you at Big Red Comi-con.
My name is Hermes, I am also known as grims_angel_cosplay online. I've been cosplay officially for about 9 to 10 years now, starting with horror cosplays before transitioning into more anime and comic related cosplays. I love working with foam and create new cosplays for every con. My favorite cosplays I've made are Jinx from League of Legends and Nightcrawler from the X-Men series and I can't wait to create more cosplays in the future.
You have artisitic freedom on your work as long as it is POKEMON related.
PARKING: Visitors may park in the main school parking lot on Yarbrough. There is an additional parking lot behind Bel Air on Venado street, but be prepared to walk around the school to get to the main entrance. Additional parking is available on Yarbrough, Santa Maria, Venado, and Hermosillo Streets.
Registration is first come first serve and spots will fill up quickly. We will send a follow-up email within 48hrs confirming your spot. If spots are filled, you will be put on a waiting list. To solidify your spot, please make payments by February 23rd. If no payment or payment arrangements have been made with us by the 23rd, you will lose your spot.
