Hello Everyone! I am Alicia! I am the counselor at April Lane Elementary School! This is my seventh year as a school counselor ranging from grades K-12, and my sixth year at April Lane Elementary. While education hasn't always been a career path it has always been a passion of mine.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications and a Master of Sciences in Educational Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling. I grew up in Yuba City and I was able to come back, to still call it home.
I have worked with many different people and in different settings that were not education, but were very educational. In my free time I spend it with loved ones. I love to learn so I am always finding ways to become a better person and professional.
Hello! I am the Kindergarten thru 12th grade school counselor at Yuba City Independence Academy (YCIA ). I love my job and I of your families and children as an extension of my life. What a blessing I have in each of you!
My educational background is in Social Work. I have a Masters of Education in School Counseling. I have enjoyed over 25 years of working with children at various levels. Each age group comes with a unique gift of challenges, growth, and enrichment for me.
I was born and raised on a farm in Sutter County, CA. I still find myself spending time there. It’s like my version of the Hundred Acre Woods. I also enjoy time tinkering around my backyard, taking long walks and long drives with my loved ones, and spending time at my home away from home on the East Coast.
Hi there! I am the counselor at Lincoln Elementary School! This is my twenty-ninth year as a school counselor ranging from grades K-12, and my sixth year at Lincoln Elementary. There is something special about every level but working with elementary kiddos is magical!
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communications and a Master of Education in Educational Counseling. I grew up in Northern California and am happy to still call it home.
I have two college-aged children who live on the east coast; my son recently graduated, and my daughter is in her senior year. When not at school I am welding, sewing, building something new, or visiting my kids on the east coast with my husband!
