Hi, I'm Joyce Khan, a Registered Nurse from Pennsylvania. This is my journey from BSN to APRN. 

Personal Statement of Goals and Objectives

 I graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2019 and continued to gain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella Univeristy in 2021. I have practiced as a registered nurse for four years and have experience as a licensed practical nurse for two years. My journey began with my interest in science and biology in highschool and grew after I spent time in the hospital with my twins, who are now 18. When my children were born, healthcare became a priority in life and the healthcare system was confusing. I wanted to gain knowledge for myself, my family, and other people who need a nurse advocate along the way. I enjoy helping others find a solution to their healthcare concerns and am excited to work around people who have the same interests in health and sciance as I do. As I have worked alongside many different diciplines, I can only appreciate the intricacies of our healthcare system and am excited to be a part of the future of healthcare as an APRN beginning in the spring of 2026.
