A-G Minimum Course Requirements for UC and CSU

To meet minimum admission requirements for California State University and University of California, you must complete 15 yearlong high school courses with a letter grade of C or better - at least 11 of them prior to your last year of high school.
California State University
Apply to one or more of the 23 CSU campus with one application.
Research campuses and majors offered.
Your CSU "a-g" grade point average (GPA) is calculated based on all grades earned in "a-g" approved courses after 9th grade.

Completion and certification of the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) will permit a student to transfer from CHC to a campus in the UC or CSU system without the need, after transfer, to take additional lower-division general education courses.
