The Transition Partnership Program (TPP) is a 12th grade English or elective course for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). We are focussed on making our seniors last year a great one while looking forward to life after graduation. We are partnered with state agencies that fund our work program, guest speakers and field trips. Our work program has placed hundreds of students over the years at local businesses. Last year alone, our students collectively made over $40,000 dollars gaining all important work experience as well as the great feeling of accomplishment in earning their paychecks. We are hoping to double last year's total this year! In addition to our focus on work, college and career, we also do weekly cooking labs with recipes generated over the years that we share with each other, campus friends and school staff. Not only do students learn a valuable life skill, we have seen our students find a home in the culinary community by finding work in local restaurants and entering local culinary programs. Our program has expanded over the years and now has 11th grade TPP courses as well. We are extremely proud of what TPP has become and feel that it is another jewel in the crown of great programs at Yucaipa High School.
