Students who attend schools in the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District have access to the services of health technicians or assistants at every school site.  Each health technician is a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who strengthens and facilitates the educational process by improving and protecting the health of all children.  The District also employs a School Nurse who is a Registered Nurse (RN). The major focus is the prevention of illness as well as the early detection and correction of health problems.
