The counsellor's role is to counsel, present options and to help students with pathway planning. Students are encouraged to make use of various planning tools in order to make informed decisions about their pathways. Counsellors also provide referrals to community social service agencies when necessary. Students are able to seek social/emotional support through Guidance as well. All students are assigned a counsellor by Alpha and are encouraged to make appointments as needed
