Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome! I hope you’ve all had a good summer. I’m excited about being back at work and am ready for the new school year! I have this class website with all the information you need about the school year. I encourage you to look through some pictures from previous years so you can have an idea of what our school year might look like. (Be sure to click on the subfolder so you can see the pictures). Parents…please read over the information posted under the tab “General Information”. I will also be using Google Classroom this year as I like the private platform and your child has been given the code to join. That code is on the Welcome letter that went home on the first day of school.

About Me
About Me
My name is Stephanie Corvese and I am an Ontario Certified Grade 2/3 Teacher. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I am passionate about providing students with authentic learning experiences, using technology (in moderation) in the classroom and outdoor learning. I love talking to students about Jesus and teaching them about Christian Meditation. I can play the piano, speak Spanish, (my mom is Mexican) and bake really good cookies. I'm also a certified hike leader through Hike Ontario and lead hikes in the area a few times each month. My favourite thing to do is spend time in nature and my favourite place in Ontario is Algonquin Provincial Park. I also enjoy travelling to different parts of the world to see our beautiful planet. I am married (21 yrs!) have 3 older sisters and I'm an aunt and Godmother. In my spare time I am probably reading, kayaking on Lake Wilcox or out hiking!
