About Me

My name is Stephanie Corvese and I am an Ontario Certified Grade 2 Teacher. I have been teaching for over 15 years.  I am passionate about providing students with  authentic learning experiences, using technology (in moderation) in the classroom and outdoor learning. I love talking to students about Jesus and teaching them about Christian Meditation.  I can play the piano, speak Spanish, (my mom is Mexican) and bake really good cookies. I'm also a certified hike leader through Hike Ontario and lead hikes in the area once a month. My favourite thing to do is spend time in nature and my favourite place in Ontario is Algonquin Provincial Park. I also enjoy travelling with my husband. I have 3 older sisters and I'm an aunt and Godmother. In my spare time I am probably reading, kayaking on Lake Wilcox or out hiking!
