The Grade 12’s performed a showcase of five one act plays entitled, Dust. The play was dedicated to the memory of Mr. Craig Boland who was always an inspiration to the Arts Dept.
The collection of plays pondered the theme of death with irreverence, reverence, humour, and a little truth! The five scripts were linked together by two characters, the Director and the theatre’s Custodian whose insights highlighted the action during the transitions. The audience enjoyed an evening of great talent and many laughs. This was the swan song performance for a group that for the most part have been together for 3 years of Drama and for whom the theatre was their second home!
2019 brought the transition from dark room photography to digital photography. Despite this, a group of inspired students and photo enthusiasts under the direction of Mr. Meiorin decided to continue the tradition of film development and started the Photography Club. The response was overwhelming as many students embraced the methods of “old school” photography.
The Sketchbook Club had only just returned and was off to a great start with a core group of sketchbook club fanatics. This club...to be continued!
