Role of the Guidance Counsellor

The Guidance Counsellor's role is to discuss and to guide, but not to make decisions for students.  Students are encouraged to make use of various planning tools in order to make informed decisions about their pathways.  Counsellors also provide referrals and liaison with community social service agencies when necessary.

Staying Informed

The Guidance Department shares information with the students of  St. Katharine Drexel CHS through one or more of the following ways: 

•  Email, PA announcements, Instagram (@Guidance_SKDCHS)

• Google Classroom

• In-school presentations

• Resource materials located in the Guidance Office
