Our Philosophy on Mathematics... 

We believe that every student can be successful in mathematics with the right tools and work habits.  Most importantly, we believe that in order for students to be successful and get the most out of their learning experience, they must be placed in the right level for their current ability.  

Math is a process.  It is about understanding the basics and building on them.  Imagine yourself going up a flight of stairs.  You can not possibly get to the top step without passing through the steps below.  Math is similar to this analogy.  You must understand the prerequisite knowledge to be successful in the next level.  You need to understand math, one step at a time, in order to be successful. 

Homework is frequently assigned in all mathematics classes. It is vital that students perform math exercises at home as a means of strengthening their skills and broadening their knowledge base. Students are all encouraged to seek extra help from their classroom teachers when they are experiencing difficulty.  Also, it is important that students complete all homework, repetition is key!
